You will require a CURRENT REFERRAL LETTER from your GP or Specialist prior to your Appointment. Medicare requires you to have a valid referral to be able to claim your full rebate. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid referral.
- From your GP – this will be valid for 12 months
- From a Specialist – this will be valid for only 3 months
Once we have received your referral letter, Dr Zachariah will review the reason for your referral and triage according to the urgency of your condition. Our reception staff will then notify you with the appointment details.
Please note: We are a private billing practice and unfortunately can only offer appointments to patients who have private health insurance with active Hospital cover.
